Multi-Family Affordable Housing
For 30-years, Gregory Nowling has specialized in audit and attestation services for multi-family affordable housing entities (MFAH). Those entities include both for-profit and non-profit entities under the Department of Housing and Urban Development, USDA Rural Development, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Bonds, and Housing Development Corporations. ComerNowling’s client base for MFAH extends from Maine to Hawaii. ComerNowling is approved by all major equity investors as a qualified CPA Firm for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit entity engagements. In addition to Gregory’s extensive experience, all senior-level managers assigned to MFAH engagements have numerous years of experience in such engagements. Our expertise allows for efficiencies in the audit process without compromising quality. As such, our clients often experience lower audit and attestation fees.
Nonprofit Organizations face challenges like those of any other business. Some of the challenges include identifying the best use of resources available, remaining financially viable while operational costs continue to increase and revenues decrease. Nonprofit Organizations must also address a magnitude of unique regulatory concerns.
Community Associations (sometimes known as “common interest realty associations”) have unique challenges with governance, financial reporting, and management.
Comer Nowling has assembled a team of highly experienced accountants dedicated to providing audit, tax, and accounting services to community associations. We provide these services to over 600 homeowners and condominium associations and have done so for over 20 years.
By using more experienced personnel in the field, providing our accountants with advanced accounting software, and minimizing review procedures required in our offices, we are able to dramatically improve accounting service efficiency.
We have worked with closely held businesses over the past 20 years in a variety of capacities. This experience is critical in the growth of your small business. We understand the synergistic nature of closely held businesses and how those synergistic natures affect each individual business. We do not approach businesses with a “cookie-cutter” basis of accounting, planning, and compliance. Instead, we study the individual attributes associated with each small business, allowing our experience to better serve those individual business needs.
For many companies driven by real estate, maximizing operating income and asset values are ongoing concerns. To help address these concerns, ComerNowling offers a broad range of audit and accounting services to provide you with quality information to allow you, your stakeholders, your investors, and others to make smart business decisions.
